Industrial Hockey League
Once the Rhode Island Auditorium was opened in 1926 Senior Amateur hockey was now indoors and became very popular. In the 1926-27 season the Industrial Hockey League featured a 10 team division with R.I. Fish Co. taking the title. R.I. Fish Company beat the Bankers 3-1 in the round-robin series for the championship. The 1927-28 Builder's Iron Foundry squad edged Brown & Sharpe 2-1 on 2 goals by Stewart Guibro to win the best of 3 championship. Brown & Sharpe would come back in 1928-29 to win the championship before falling 2-0 to Newport (Blackstone Valley champions) for the state crown.
