Massachusetts Hockey League

The MHL, formerly known as the South Shore Amateur Hockey League, included many of the top former high school and college players from Rhode Island including Don Hebert, Dick Ernst, Alan Soares, John Kennedy, Tom Woodcock, Lou Lamoriello, Ed Stahowiak, Lee Hathaway and Ray Ruggieri.  The MHL also included Massachuesetts brothers Harold, Butch and Wally Songin, Olympic & National players Dick Rodenhiser, Bill Cleary and Ed & Jack Kirrane.
