Junior hockey continued in 1931-32 under James R. Darke, president of the Junior Amateur Hockey League, through the early 1940s. Many Junior stars continued in the Inter-City Amateur Hockey League including the Senator's Junior Young, Nat Hardy and Clem Harnedy and the East Side Rambler's "Pud" Quirk.
